Job Summary
The Hardware Specialist / Hardware Manager is responsible for ordering, receiving, organizing, stocking, and maintaining accurate inventory levels. This role ensures products are properly stored, labeled, and available for customer and operational needs while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Interact with product vendors and merchandisers to obtain information on upcoming promotions
- Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities and condition of materials
- Stock shelves, racks, and storage areas in an organized and efficient manner
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and physical inventories
- Label, tag, and rotate stock as required
- Pull, stage, and load materials for customer orders or deliveries
- Monitor inventory levels, and report shortages, damages, or discrepancies
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and stock areas
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Assist customers or team members in locating products as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous inventory, stocking, or warehouse experience a plus
- Microsoft office and Epicor point of sale experience a plus
- Basic math and counting skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Schedule
- Full-time
- Weekdays with occasional weekends or overtime as needed
